There's a lot of factors in the report and kind of questionable. Some of this includes survey results, mentions in news articles, etc. IMO Chicago is for sure #2 in the US as far as financial centers go. Having both Montreal and Vancouver above it is just weird. Boston is a good financial center, but usually not thought of as above Chicago.
